Duncan and Todd have 10 on-site mobile testing teams and a network of over 2000 Opticians covering the UK, Ireland and Europe. Our network are predominantly independent practices and small groups, who work closely with us and many of them offer discounts to patients using the Duncan and Todd system.
On-Site Testing
This is the way forward in occupational eye care and is popular with all sizes of companies. This method cuts down on the amount of time an employee is away from their work station which is the largest single hidden cost when supplying eye care.
Site visits are arranged up to three months in advance and Duncan and Todd can provide pre-visit marketing to raise awareness amongst staff ensuring maximum compliance with the legislation.
Our on-site testing teams then supply a full eye test – right in your workplace.
When added to the fact that the spectacles are delivered back to the workplace and fitted during working hours then on-site testing is hard to beat.
We also supply general purpose spectacles and your employee can select from a fantastic range of frames, including many designers frames, and lenses all at a discount 30% or greater to the normal retail price.
Off-Site Testing
Although less popular than on-site testing, this is an essential part of our service either as a replacement to the on-site testing option or to compliment our on-site system for employees unable to attend our visits.
Eyecare forms are can be ordered from our hotline team, or in the near future online, reducing the administration burden to our clients.
Most employers prefer this system to the alternative of paying up front for vouchers or reimbursing employees on an individual basis, both of which can be expensive and open to misuse.
Once the employer has set their own control criteria Duncan and Todd will police each form to ensure that the employee is given the best possible advice and that the employers instructions are carried out according to their own control criteria.
These forms can then be taken to any one of our 2000 Netwok Opticins where the employee can receive a full eyecare service - fully administered by Duncn and Todd
