Nationwide coverage with a branch in almost every town of the UK. On-site testing is conducted at premises with more than 50 staff and then any smaller branches or urgent tests are serviced off-site at the local Opticians.
The contract is mainly for VDU sight testing and VDU frames and lenses. However, there are a small number of prescription safety spectacles.
Our rota allows a visit to each office every two years, with the flexibility for an extra visit if there are enough ënew startsí.
One difficulty was working out the ëtake upí for on-site testing. As we employ the dispensing opticians it was important to get the figures right. But our experience with on-site testing at other clients let us calculate that we needed another 5 opticians.
When an on-site visit is booked, posters advertise the Appointment Hotline and employees call Duncan and Todd to book a test.
